Why is this under Bad Vibes? Because a Republican is doing this? I don't want the goverment controllin' mah nets. There is also a bill to give Obama the ablity to shut down the internet in an emergency situation.

It is under bad vibes because he is working AGAINST internet freedom.

I suggest reading about net neutrality. It's a very good thing.

Net neutrality prevents telecom companies from charging dramatically more for hosting. This will make it almost impossible for people without corporate funding to operate a reasonably fast website. It also prevents telecom companies from charging us for what websites we wish to see.

Or throttling you if they do not like the content. Basically net neutrality is internet free speech.

How am I not thinking? I don't trust the goverment. I trust a telecom company more than I do the goverment. At least they admit they want your money, and if you don't like there service, you can always go to another company that does have better service.
